Hi. I'm Grace.
YOUR Helena-West Helena City Council Candidate for Ward 3 Position 1
You may remember me as Graceylyn.
I'm thrilled to reconnect with the community that shaped who I am today. A proud graduate of Central High School's Class of 2002, I consider myself a testament to what high expectations and support can produce. The amazing educators in Helena-West Helena prepared me to be not only top of my class here, but also a Chancellor's Scholar at the University of Arkansas, which are academically in the top 5% of all students who apply to the UofA each year. I went on to earn my degree in Human Environmental Sciences with a concentration in Fashion Merchandising and Textiles Science.

The foundation that was laid in this community, has led me on an exciting and fulfilling path through several corporate roles, each one more interesting and challenging than the last. From testing laboratories and textile mills to construction companies and theme parks. Every chapter has been filled with blessings, lessons and challenges. Helena-West Helena prepared me for every one. And now, I have an opportunity to apply the knowledge, skills, and experience I've gained to help bring new ideas and a fresh perspective to the city I love!
They call me Mom.
Of all the titles I've held in life, none of them mean as much to me as this one..... "Mom" (Previously "Mommy", sometimes "Ma", occasionally "Bruh")
And now, as a mother of three wonderful children, I've returned home to be closer to my family and to give back to the place that has always been close to my heart. Over the years my children have been able to participate in so many wonderful activities here, including Swim Camps, Wild Hog Football and Cheer, Boys and Girls Club activities and basketball, Tech Camp, Dance Classes and Tae Kwon Do. I look forward to partnering with the community to make sure that youth programming thrives and grows in our city.
I want you to call me YOUR Councilwoman.
I'm deeply committed to working with each of you to continue moving our city forward. We will make Helena-West Helena a place we can all be proud to call home. A place where every resident feels acknowledged, valued, supported, and excited about our future.
